This is an astounding piece of work and I am unable to resist writing a critique on such a breathtaking painting. The expression is soft and strong at once, feminine without losing any strength of character.

The color palette is gently complimentary, the muted peach of her skin and wings are a lovely contrast to the more saturated midnight blues of her robe, her raven hair frames her creamy complexion dramatically, pulling almost all of our focus up toward the upper body. The lighting is consistent and well-portrayed. Especially effective is the soft, cool ambient light of the environment paired with the bright, supernatural back lighting. The fabric and metallic elements are handled particularly well. I feel like I could reach out and touch it.

There's very little to be critical about. My only real critical point, and it's very minor, the legs below the knees seem to diminish, the feet appearing to be rather pinched and angled oddly. I understand, however, that this is a floating being, and that one's feet would likely dangle in that way if we went around hovering over the ground. That said, one hardly spends much time looking at the feet because our attention is pulled mostly up and around the exquisite torso and face.

Overall completely gorgeous and skillful as always. Bravo.
